Teeing Off: Vani Karimanal finished strong over her final 10 holes, rebounding from a slow start to remain inside the top 10, finishing ninth to pace UC Davis women's golf at the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational.
 
IN THE CLUBHOUSE:

• UC Davis shot +7 in the final round, finishing +16 for the tournament, placing them tied for 11th overall
• Karimanal (+1) came out of the gate with four bogies in her first seven holes, but that did not deter the Aggie as she bounced back to shoot birdies on holes 16, 18, three and seven to fight back and remain inside the top 10 for a solid finish
• Skyler May made the biggest climb up the leader boards, moving 12 spots with a +1 on the day, scoring birdies on 14, four and six
