WHAT HEAD COACH JENNIFER GROSS HAD TO SAY

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After UC San Diego began the game on an 8-0 run, Norris and Victoria Baker got the offense going with back-to-back three pointers.
- As the Tritons continued to produce on offense, Harris hit her first shot of the game from beyond the arc to cut the deficit to single-digits at the end of the first.
- In the second quarter, threes from Sabel and Avery Sussex got the Aggies as close as nine.
- However, UCSD continued to produce, with the Tritons holding a 34-21 lead at halftime.
- Throughout the third quarter, both teams continued to exchange baskets, with Norris and Sabel each leading the scoring with four apiece.
- Going into the fourth, UC San Diego continued to lead 54-39.
- With three minutes left, Davis looked to get back into the game with a 7-0 scoring run to cut the deficit down to ten.
- However, free throws from the Tritons put it out of reach, clinching a 75-66 win.
