Â
HOW IT HAPPENEDÂ
- The Aggies came out of the gate hot, scoring 11 of the first thirteen points off of a balanced attack from Norris, Sydney Burns, and Victoria Baker.
- As the Titans came within four, the second unit began to produce, with Bennett and Clara Glad leading the charge to give their team a 19-9 lead after the first.
- In the second period, the offensive output continued to roll, with the Ags rattling off a 14-3 run in the first four minutes of the quarter.
- Once again, Fullerton looked to cut into the lead with a couple of quick baskets, but another scoring run from the home team, 10-4, was capped off by an Ally Fitzgerald three to see them up 45-22 at the half.
- Coming out of the locker room, the Titans looked to gain momentum with a couple of quick buckets.
- But the Davis offense continued to click, with back-to-back threes from Sabel helping to hold the 20+ point lead going into the fourth quarter, 57-33.
- The fourth quarter saw both teams exchanging baskets throughout, including the first made field goal of the game for Sahana Kanagasabay.
- Despite the Titans scoring the last six points of the contest, the Aggies would cruise to an easy victory, 71-54, giving Jennifer Gross the most wins in program history.
