THE SHORT STORY: UC Davis secured a commanding road victory Sunday afternoon, defeating Idaho State 93-83 at Reed Gym. Behind a balanced offensive attack that saw five Aggies score in double figures and a dominant 50-point performance in the paint, UC Davis established a double-digit lead in the first half and maintained control throughout the contest to seal the win.

COURT SIDE
- Connor Sevilla led the Aggies with 18 points, showcasing ice-cold composure by finishing a perfect 9-for-9 from the free-throw line. The double figure showing for Sevilla was his ninth time scoring 10 or more points on the season.
- It was a balanced scoring effort as four other Aggies reached double figures: Isaiah Chappell (13), Nils Cooper (13), Niko Rocak (13), and Cyril "CJ" Franklin Jr. (10).

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After falling behind 10-8 early in the opening period, UC Davis responded with an 8-0 run midway through the half to take a 16-10 lead, seizing momentum they would never relinquish.
- The Aggies attacked the rim relentlessly in the first half, scoring 28 points in the paint and capitalizing on turnovers to build a comfortable 50-35 advantage at halftime.
- UC Davis opened the second half strong, extending their lead to as many as 19 points.
- Idaho State attempted a comeback behind hot perimeter shooting, hitting 12 three-pointers on the night, but UC Davis countered with 60% shooting from the field in the second half.
- Despite the Bengals narrowing the gap late, the Aggies maintained their composure and converted key buckets down the stretch to close out the 93-83 road win.
