DAVIS, Calif. — After a loss at Nevada, UC Davis Swim and Dive return to Schaal to take on Cal State East Bay in their first home meet of the season.

GAME NOTES

• UC Davis enters the week with a 0-2 record after recording a loss at Nevada.
• UC Davis hosted their annual Blue & Gold Meet, as well as the Alumni Meet giving the team a fun opportunity to prepare for the season.
• UC Davis recorded several first-place finishes against SJSU. Including senior Gabi Bellin in the 200 freestyle, freshman Ezmee Jones in the 1000 freestyle, junior Emily Scheberies in the 100 backstroke, sophomore Katherine Lim in the 3 meter diving event, freshman Ella Ackerman in the 500 freestyle, and senior Leila Busch in the 1 meter event.
• Freshman Ella Ackerman was the only Aggie to get a first-place finish in her event, the 1000 yard freestyle.
• Sophomore Katherine Lim qualified for the NCAA Zone Meet with her 1 meter diving score of 273.90 at Nevada.

ABOUT THE OPPONENTS

• Nevada enters the week 1-3 after losing to Fresno State in their last meet.
• The last time UC Davis faced Cal State East Bay was in 2023, beating the Falcons 240-53.

SEASON NOTES

• Veteran Leadership: The 2025 squad features an experienced upper class led by captains Ella Palmer, Olivia Andersen, and Mackenzie Young.
• Head Coach Matt Macedo returns for his third season.
• Head Dive Coach Phil Tonne returns for his 22^nd season.
• The Aggies have added Laurel Abernethy to the coaching staff as the first Assistant Diving coach at UC Davis.
