The short story: The Aggies fought it out at the Big West Beach Volleyball Championship taking down Cal State Bakersfield in the Quarterfinal and falling to Hawaii in the semifinals. They swiftly took down the Roadrunners but the cards were not in their favor in the afternoon, falling 1-3 to the Rainbow Wahine, finishing off their season.

WHAT TO KNOW

• Colleen McGuire and Kylie Miller swept their opponents at court 1 giving up less than 10 points in each game
• Morgan Coolbaugh and Lindsay Heller took an easy dub winning in straight sets at court 3, 21-9, 21-19
• Tabitha Mitchell and Kimi Waller won their match in straight sets on court 2 clinching the match for the Aggies
• Morgan Coolbaugh and Lindsay Heller won one set against the Rainbow Wahine, 21-15  
• Alicia Letvin and Mia Olen also pulled out an impressive set win against Hawaii 23-21
• Anna Braun and Kate O'Steen sent their first set to 25 falling short by 2
