Box Score SAN JOSE, Calif. — UC Davis fell short this afternoon in their competition against San Jose. The match picked back up after being postponed yesterday due to rain. The Spartans outscored the Ags 4-2.
 
The Aggies got off to a great start against San Jose securing the doubles point for the Ags. Arianna Stavropoulos and Mika Ikemori took down their competitors in a tie break set 7-6 (7-5). The sister duo of Daisy and Olive Maunupau saw the same fate as the court one duo and worked through a tiebreak set to secure the final match to grab the doubles point.
 
Into singles play Stavropoulos was the lone singles winner for the Ags winning in straight sets 6-1, 7-5. Ikemori won the first set of her match 6-3 but eventually was overtaken by the competition.
 
The Aggies are back on the road March 8 and 9 versus conference opponents UC Riverside as well as Cal State Long Beach.
