DAVIS, Calif. — UC Davis ends day two of the Big West Challenge once again 1-1, with n win against Cal State Bakersfield and one loss to #19 Cal Poly at home this weekend.
 
The Aggies kicked off the second day with a win for UC Davis scoring three points total across courts 1,3 and 4. Coleen McGuire won with partner Kylie Miller in straight sets on court one. Tabitha Mitchell and Kimi Waller followed suit taking down the road runners in two sets as well. Rounding out the point for the Ags was the dynamic duo of Morgan Coolbaugh and Lindsay Heller who battled back from being down their second set to take the win for the Ags.

Game two was a battle for the Ags against the #19 ranked team. Anna Braun and Kate O'Steen did pick up a set win for the pair at court 5, 21-12. Waller and Mitchell also picked up an impressive 36 points between their two sets, not letting the pressure off the Mustangs.

The Ags will return in their final day of the Big West Challenge on Sunday March 24 where they will take on #9 Long Beach and Causeway rival Sacramento State.
