DAVIS, Calif. — The Ags took home another home match today making UC Davis 9-5 in their regular season currently.
The Aggies started their afternoon against the Lumberjacks with doubles play.
Ryan Torres and
Ivan Savkin secured an early win at #2 doubles, winning their last 4 matches as partners. The Ags clinched the point by Sam DeVries and
Eduardo Gonzalez win at the third doubles position, 6-4 over NAU.
The Aggies secured 4 more points in the singles competition to take the win for the day. Freshman,
Eduardo Gonzalez, won his third match of the season in straight sets at the sixth court 6-4, 6-1.
Sam De Vries won in straight sets as well 7-5, 6-4 over De Boes of NAU.
Max Fardanesh had a great comeback after losing his first set to win the set at court 4. Finally,
Brett Brinkman clinched the win for the Aggies after a huge battle, coming back from a loss at his first set, winning a tie break set for the second he managed an impressive win to take it over the edge for UC Davis.
The Aggies are back at home March 27 against UC Riverside for their second conference match of the season.
