Box Score DAVIS, Calif. — The Aggies lost for the first time at home this season with a final score of 5-2, to Nevada.
 
The Ags were keeping up in doubles play, Michelle Zell and Carly Schwartzberg fought until the finish narrowly defeated 6-4. Olive and Daisy Maunupau were the lone doubles winners for the afternoon giving it everything they had, resulting in a tiebreaker, and ultimately taking the win 7-6 (6-0). The doubles point went to Nevada at the end of the three matches.
 
Schwartzberg and Mika Ikemori brought home the two points for the day. The senior, Carly Schwartzberg, came from behind after the losing the first set in her singles match and dominated in her last two sets against Nevada's Kennedy Robinson 2-6, 6-1, 6-3. Mika Ikemori is on a roll in singles play winning the last three matches she's competed in. The freshman won in straight sets against her Nevada competitor Marlene Foerster 6-1, 6-4.
 
The Aggies will compete again at home next weekend Feb. 17 at 12:00 pm versus Santa Clara University and again on Sunday in another conference match up against UC Irvine at 11:00 am, stay tuned!
