DAVIS, Calif. — The UC Davis Aggies have now won their second game in a row at home. The Ags beat out Idaho 6-1 today making them 4-1 at home.
The Ags started their afternoon match securing the doubles point after wins from pairs
Lucas Bollinger and
Max Fardanesh 7-5 and
Ivan Savkin and
Antreas Djakouris 7-6 (8-6), securing the first point of the day.
UC Davis took the momentum of doubles play into singles competition winning 5 matches total.
Constantinos Djakouris won in straight sets only losing one game total in his match. A. Djakouris,
Sam De Vries, and
Lucas Bollinger won in straight sets as well racking up the points for the Ags. Fardanesh battled his way back from being down during the first set to winning the match for the Ags 4-6, 7-6 (3-0), 14-12.
The Aggies hit the road next, where they will take on the University of San Francisco on Monday Feb 26 at 11 a.m.
