DAVIS, Calif. — The Aggies fell short in their match today at home versus University of the Pacific with a final score of 4-3 in favor of the Tigers.
The Aggies started off the afternoon strong winning the doubles point, winning two of the three matches. Arianna Stavropolous and
Mika Ikemori battled their way back in the doubles competition after being down 4-0, to take the win 6-4. Daisy and
Olive Maunupau also secured a doubles win for the Ags taking control on court two beating out Alexis Sam and Indiya McLeod of Pacific 6-3.
Aggies secured their second two points of the match in singles play. Stavropolous won her match after Klara Kosan retired due to injury, the match was 1-1 before the retirement with Stavropolous winning the second set 6-4. O. Maunupau was the second win of the afternoon taking down Zoe Clydesdale-Eberle 6-0, 7-5.
The Ags are back tomorrow Feb.24 at Marya Welch against Saint Mary's beginning at 11:00 am.
