AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. — The Aggies took home their fifth win of the season as well as their second highest score so far this year. The Ags secured the top spot in their first tri-meet of the season scoring a 195.475.
 
The Ags began the evening on floor. The high scorer for the Ags this evening was Megan Ray who placed second and secure a 9.850 on the event. Following not too far behind was Amelia Moneymaker who scored a 9.775. Their scores helped contribute to the Ags team score of 48.525.
 
UC Davis moved onto vault in rotation 2. The Aggies took the top three spots in the event. Keanna Abraham was the top scorer with a 9.900 followed by Emma Otsu in second overall with a 9.800. Megan Ray tied for third receiving a 9.775, contributing to a 48.900 for the team.
 
Into rotation 3 UC Davis had their highest event score of the night with a 49.200 on uneven bars. Jadyn Wakita and Moneymaker tied for second scoring a 9.875 both tying their personal best for the season. Right behind followed Isabella Fitz-Gerald with a 9.850. Right behind Fitz-Gerald was Ava Scafani and Ayumi Oshiro who tied with a solid 9.800.
 
The final event of the evening for the Aggies was beam where they placed in the top five spots. Ava Scafani took the overall scoring a 9.875 marking a personal best for the season. Oshiro followed in second with a 9.800. Moneymaker was not far behind in third with a 9.750.
 
The Aggies next meet is Sunday Feb. 25 at 2 p.m. where they will battle it out once again with the San Jose Spartans!
