HOW IT HAPPENED

- The Aggies would respond with a much needed three-point play from Johnson with 12:02 remaining to cut into the deficit
- Pepperdine maintained their momentum, taking a 21-point lead into the under-four-minute media timeout and eventually stretching it to a 24-point lead, with the Waves leading 43-19 at halftime
- The second half would continue with Pepperdine maintaining control throughout, eventually coming out on top with the 85-46 win
- Five different players from the Waves reached double figures, with Dovydas Butka leading the way with 18 points
