Cason Goodman and
Carson Hammond secured two of the final Big West Player of the Week honors, earning Offensive Player and Freshman of the Week, respectively.
Goodman delivered a brace in a crucial match for the Aggies, scoring the first two goals in UC Davis' 4-2 victory over Sacramento State. This marked Goodman's second brace of the season, bringing his goal tally to nine—fourth highest among Big West leaders.
Hammond received his first career Big West Player of the Week honor after netting the game-winning goal against Sacramento State. The redshirt freshman defender's goal was his first career score. His timely defending proved decisive, limiting the Hornets to just two goals in a high-scoring contest.
With Hammond and Goodman closing out this season's Big West Player of the Week honors, this marks the fifth week an Aggie has been recognized this season.
Hammond, Goodman and the Aggies will look to keep their momentum rolling this week, hosting fifth-seeded Cal State Bakersfield in the first round of the Big West Championship on Wednesday, Nov. 6 at 1 p.m. PT.
