The short story: Caeley Goldstein posted a career-high 12 saves for the Aggies on Sunday afternoon at Triton Soccer Stadium, leading the way in UC Davis' first draw of the season against UC San Diego.

- Goldstein excelled throughout the match, recording 12 saves as the Tritons fired off 25 shots
- In comparison, the Aggies had 11 shots, with seven on target, led by Jayde Holley who had all four of her attempts on goal

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Aggies threatened early, with consecutive shots on goal in the sixth minute from Holley and Sarah Canavan
- Goldstein ended the first half with three saves in quick succession from the 20th to the 23rd minute
- Despite their early offensive pressure, the Aggies had six shots in the first half but remained scoreless at halftime
- In the second half, the Aggies added three more shots on target, with Holley creating a scoring chance in the 64th minute, Ashleigh Garcia in the 74th, and Teresa Garcia in the 80th, but Ginny Fronk for UC San Diego made saves on each attempt, underscoring the strong goalkeeping play on both sides
- UC Davis had one more late attempt, but it was too late to break the tie
