ANCHORAGE, Alask. — The Aggies do it again, winning their second meet this season against Alaska on their home turf. The teams finished with a 195.125 and an 186.250, with the Ags securing the top spot.
The Ags opened up the meet on bars with a strong performance. Standout second-year
Amelia Moneymaker tied her career best on bars with a 9.850. Freshman
Jadyn Wakita and
Ayumi Oshiro set new personal bests on the event as well with a 9.725 9.825 respectively.
High scorer on vault was
Keanna Abraham with a 9.850 followed by
Emma Otsu and
Megan Ray tying with a score of 9.725. The Aggies took the top 4 spots on vault, with a second-place tie.
For their third event the Aggies secured top spots on floor.
Keanna Abraham came out victorious in the top spot securing a 9.850. Following closely behind with a 9.800 was third year
Megan Ray.
The Aggies closed out the meet on beam, securing the top 4 spots. Abraham finished first with a a score of 9.875. She was followed by Moneymaker in second with a 9.825. Right on her heels was senior
Anna Holtan with a 9.800 and to round out the fourth-place spot was Otsu 9.750.
The Ags will be back at it versus the Seawolves once again this Sunday Jan. 21st at 3 p.m. in Anchorage before heading back to Davis for their next home meet!
