TEMPE, Ariz.— The UC Davis women's tennis team competed in their first two matches of the season this past weekend in Arizona. The Ags faced off against ASU on Saturday and followed up with a match versus GCU on Sunday. The Aggies put in a valiant effort but fell short against both the Sun Devils and the Lopes.
Saturday we saw the competitive edge of
Olive Maunupau who battled it out winning one game against her competitor 6-3. The Maunupau sisters as a doubles pair were dynamic but couldn't close out their set and fell short against ASU's duo with a 7-6 score.
