HONOLULU, HAWAI'I– On day-two of the Big West Beach Volleyball Championship, the UC Davis Aggies fell short in a match against Cal Poly and are now eliminated from the playoffs. UC Davis went 2-2 in playoff action to end its incredible season.
Under new head coach
Gretchen Hand, UC Davis started the season 9-0, started from the bottom of conference polls to finish 3
rd in regular season play, and ended the regular season 18-10. Overall the Ags went 20-12 including the playoffs.

At 1:30 p.m. the Ags took on Cal Poly in their fourth match of the tournament. Things looked good for UC Davis, as
Morgan Coolbaugh and
Sam Lazenby picked up the first set win at the fifth flight. That would be the only set won for the Ags, as the Mustangs captured four to advance in the playoffs.
