LAS VEGAS, NEV.– The UC Davis women's golf team is tied for 5
th after the first round of the Big West Championship, as two Aggies are placed in the top-five on Sunday. As a team the Aggies carded a 14-over 302 on the 6,315-yard, par 72 course.
Naomi Danner paced for the Ags as she tied is for 3
rd after round-one. The sophomore carded a couple birdies on the day and made par 14-times for an even 72-stroke play.

Skyler May also placed in the top-five, and is coincidentally tied for 5
th after round-one. May carded a pair of birdies on Sunday and finished the day at 1-over 73.
Lauren Calderon placed in the top-30 as she is tied for 27
th. The freshman shot 6-over 78 to end round-one of play.
Sophomore
Abby Leighton finds herself tied for 30
th. Leighton carded a trifecta of birdies, but shot 7-over 79 in round-one
To round out the Ags,
Elle Rastvortsev placed 37
th after day one of the Big West Championships. The sophomore carded a birdie and finished the round 10-over 82.
