San Luis Obispo, Calif.– The UC Davis Beach Volleyball squad advances to 13-6 on the season. After winning out during the last day of the Conference Challenge. On the final day of play, the Ags captured a victory over CSU Northridge and their first ever win over Cal Poly.
 
The Ags started the final day of the Conference Challenge with a 4-set to one win over CSUN. UC Davis won in three-straight flights to earn a 3-0 set advantage, before the Matadors gained their first. After which, the Aggies would claim the last flight and advance to 12-6 on the season.

At noon the Aggies took on Cal Poly for their final match of the tournament. The Mustangs quickly claimed the first flight, but the Ags would retaliate by nabbing the fourth. Both clubs went back-and-forth until each had a pair of sets. UC Davis won the second and fourth. While Cal Poly took the first and third. It all came down to a highly competitive fifth and final flight.
The final flight went to a tie-breaker. But, Juniors Sydney Rau-Kim and Alicia Letvin  would maintain their poise to help the Aggies takedown the Mustangs for the first time.

UC Davis continues on the road for the Cal Poly Tournament from April 1^st to April 2^nd. The Ags open the tournament against the University of California Berkeley at 1pm and another match against Cal Poly at 3:30pm. On the second, UC Davis faces the University of Washington at 10am and concludes the tournament against Tulane at 1:45pm.
