San Luis Obispo, Calif.– UC Davis continued this year's Conference Challenge with matches against Long Beach State, Sacramento State, and the University of Hawai'i. The Aggies went 1-2 in matches on the day, are 2-2 overall for the tournament and are now 11-6 on the season.
 
The Aggies started the Conference Challenge with a victory over the CSU Bakersfield Roadrunners yesterday. But, unfortunately, they fell in their first match today against the Beach. UC Davis was able to claim a set win in the first flight, but Long Beach would capture the rest.

However, after the Ags loss to the Beach. UC Davis would sweep Causeway rival Sacramento State. The Aggies changed line-ups from the first match today, by adding freshman Kate O'Steen and senior Bailey Herdman who got her first start of the season. Flights one, four and five were all taken to tie-breakers. But, UC Davis triumphed in each to complete the sweep.

UC Davis' third match of the day would prove to be highly competitive. The Ags struck first with a victory in flight three. But, the Rainbow Warriors would capture flights four and five for a 2-1 lead. The remaining two-sets were split between the teams.
