Box Score RENO, Nev. — The UC Davis women's tennis team (6-8, 2-2 Big West) could not keep their mid-season momentum rolling, as the University of Nevada Wolfpack (4-3) took the match victory at the McArthur Tennis Center, 4-2. 

Davis came out strong, picking up the first point of the match with a 2-1 doubles advantage. The duo of Olive Maunupau and Lauren Ko have now won three straight doubles matches. 

The Aggies put another point on the board behind the continued excellence of Arianna Stavropoulos, who won her eighth straight match in dominant fashion, 6-0, 6-1.

Wiem Boubaker and Lou-Anne Guerbert have been trouble for their opponents all season, Friday being no exception. Boubaker, 6-1 on the year, and Guerbert, a perfect 4-0, helped lead the Wolfpack charge to four straight singles wins to clinch the match victory.

This loss is the end of a four-game UC Davis winning streak. The Aggies have a ten-day break to regroup before they are back in action for a Big West showdown against Long Beach State on Mar. 28.
