PHOENIX, Ariz. – The UC Davis Women's Beach Volleyball team, after a loss yesterday to Texas A&M Corpus Christi, have now lost three in a row in the Grand Canyon Tournament. UC Davis has suffered its first losing streak of the season with back-to-back losses from Grand Canyon University and Pepperdine University.
The Ags first match of the day was against the Thunder at 2:30 p.m. UCD fought to take the third and fourth flights to tie-breaker rounds. But, GCU prevailed and swept the Aggies 5-0 as they did back in 2021. Davis is now 0-2 against the Thunder in overall matches between the clubs.

Kate O'Steen picked up the fourth flight. This was the first time this season each duo started.
Unfortunately, Pepperdine swept the Aggies for their third loss in a row. UCD has fallen to the Waves on two occasions prior to the tournament and is now 0-3 against them.
