Box Score DAVIS, Calif. — The UC Davis Aggies had no problem adjusting to unfamiliar surroundings as they defeated the Hawai'i Rainbow Wahine, 4-2, Saturday night. Two reschedulings generated the circumstances under which UC Davis (6-7, 2-2 Big West) would nab its third straight win at the Spare Tire Indoor Tennis Center in Gold River, Calif.
Yana Gurevich got the Aggies started strong with a 6-1, 6-2 straight set victory.
Hawaii tied things up shortly after, but Arianna Stavropoulos and Olive Maunupau picked up the next two match wins, paving the way for Kaia Wolfe to put the contest to rest with a commanding 6-2 final set.
No doubles matches were played.
