MORAGA, Calif.– The UC Davis Beach Volleyball team, now 9-0 on the season, kept its momentum from the Santa Clara Tournament and went 2-0 Friday at the Saint Mary's Tournament.
The Aggies first match was against the University of Utah at Noon. UC Davis prevailed four sets to one, with its only loss in the first flight. The first could've gone either way as each individual set was decided by five or less points and went to a tie-breaker. The Ags now pushed the overall series against Utah 2-0.

At 3p.m. UC Davis took on Saint Mary's for the second time this season. The Ags previously beat the Gales 4-1 last week during the Santa Clara Tournament. However– this match was much more competitive. In the first three sets, the Gales picked up an early two. But, the Ags rallied back, won three-straight, won-out the tournament, and continued their perfect season.

NEXT WEEK
UC Davis is now 9-0 on the young season and will travel to the Grand Canyon Tournament in Phoenix, Arizona. The tournament lasts from the 16th to the 18th and consists of five overall matches. The Ags play Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and Southern Mississippi on the 16th. On the 17th UCD matches up against the University of Arizona and Pepperdine University. To wrap up the tournament, the Ags play Grand Canyon University on the 18th.
