Lan Larison Named Big Sky Conference Offensive Player of the Week

FARMINGTON, Utah – UC Davis running back Lan Larison has been named the Co-Offensive Player of the Week by the Big Sky, the conference office announced Monday.

Larison ran for the third most yards in a single game in program history when he recorded 264 yards on the ground on 31 carries and scored all three Aggie touchdowns.

The three touchdowns marked the second game in a row he had found the endzone that many times and was his third hat trick on the season.

The Idaho native became the first Aggie since Matt Massari to rush for over 200 yards twice in the same season. Massari posted totals of 237 and 221 in 2002.

Larison now holds the third and fourth most rushing yards in a single game in school history as he also ran for 255 yards against Eastern Washington.

The running back leads the Big Sky with 980 rushing yards and 140 yards per game despite missing three games.

UC Davis will host the Causeway Classic on Saturday. Kickoff against Sacramento State will be at Noon.
