Box Score SANTA CLARA, Calif. - UC Davis hit the road as the Aggies took on Santa Clara University in Santa Clara. The Aggies won their first match of the season, 5-2 over the homestanding Broncos.
 
The Aggies won four of the six singles matches that were played. Sophomore Arianna Stavropoulos won on court #2 over Finley Kalinic 5-7, 6-4, 6-3. Junior Michelle Zell (court #4), freshman Kaia Wolfe (court #5) and junior Carly Schwartzberg (court #6) each won their matches in straight sets.
 
In doubles play, the Aggies won all three matches. Senior Yana Gurevich and Stavropoulos won their match 6-1 on court #1. Senior Lauren Ko and Wolfe won a tight match 7-6 (7-5) on court #2 and on court #3, Schwartzberg and Zell won their match 6-2.
 
The Aggies return home to the Marya Welch Tennis Center on Friday as they host San Jose State. First serve is set for 1:30 pm
