Davis, Calif. - UC Davis is adding front court size as it prepares for the 2022-23 season with Head Coach Jim Les announcing the signing of Nevada transfer DeAndre Henry.

Henry appeared in 33 games over two seasons at Nevada and adds immediate size to the Aggie front court. He scored 17 points and grabbed 21 rebounds over 15 games last season.

Henry played his senior season for a PHHoenix Prep Fire team that posted a 35-15 record competing in the Grind Session. The Fire were one of 20 teams that qualified for the Grind Session World Championships while Henry was a first-team All-Grind Session honoree and was selected to play in the Grind Session All-Star Game.

He averaged a double-double his senior year, scoring 17.4 points, grabbing 11.3 rebounds per game, and blocking 1.4 shots per game while shooting 57 percent from the field and was good for 84 percent from the line.
