Lakewood, Wash. — UC Davis women's golf has finished the Pat Lesser Harbottle taking 11th place in the field of 21. The Aggies were a combined 30-over-par during round three after carding a 303. Coach Demi Runas was proud of how her team was able to dig deep all day yesterday and can surely be pleased with a near top-10 finish. In a day that saw three Aggies shoot 4-over-par, Naomi Danner carded the low on the day with a 75, 3-over-par performance. Gonzaga was able to come away with the team victory while Nevada's Victoria Gailey, was able to win the individual title after winning the playoff on hole 18.

Abby Leighton, Skyler May, and Elle Rastvortseva were the three members who finished all plus four on the day, as Rastvortseva was notably able to sink two birdies on the day. Marina Mata added two birdies as well as her and Rastvortseva collected all the birdies for the Aggies during round three play.

Leighton, a Big West All-Conference member from a year ago finds herself in the top 25 for the first time this year, finishing at just 6-over-par. Leighton's second round, even-par score of 72 gave way to her best showing of the season.

Rastvortseva also cracked the top-30 on the individual leaderboards as she was tied for 29th and finished the tournament just one stroke behind Leighton at 7-over-par. May and Danner also turned in quality weeks as they both tied for 36th at 9-over-par.

UC Davis finished with 894 strokes in total and looks to keep building on to a strong start to the year. The Aggies have been battling each and every tournament and will conclude the fall season at the end of the month when they travel to Stanford and compete in Stanford Intercollegiate, which runs from Oct. 21-23.
