Orono, ME — In the final match of the season for UC Davis Field Hockey, your Aggies suffered a 6-2 defeat to the No. 23 ranked Maine Black Bears. Leading the action for Davis today was Lizzy Tedrow who had one goal and one assist as she brings her final point total on the season to 13, trailing leader Brooke Sanchez by just one who had 14 in her final career as an Aggie.
Izzy Porco recorded the other goal for UC Davis today as she picked up her first goal of the season in the final game. The goal for Porco gives her five for her career as an Aggie as she picked up one in every season she played. Porco leaves UC Davis as the all-time leader in career defensive saves, with eight after her record breaking 2021 season where she collected six which is tied for first among all Aggies in one season.

UC Davis finishes the season 2-13 overall with a 1-7 record in America East play during Coach Austin Pile's first season at the helm.
The Aggies will lose six seniors to graduation including the leading goal scorer in Brooke Sanchez, but return the likes of Grad transfer Shannon Lackey (two goals, one assist), Lizzy Tedrow (four goals, five assists) and junior Skylar Richards (four goals, one assist). UC Davis will also miss the rest of the senior class that includes Danielle Yau, Grace Austin, Kalli Wagnon and Milou Korthouwer who has been a vital part of the midfield the day she stepped on campus.
