ONE LAST GO AROUND

Brooke Sanchez has been the heartbeat of the team leading all teammates with six goals to her name. Her six goals doubled her career mark of three which she set during her freshman year and she has done so in an efficient manner, making the most out of her 17 shots recorded on the season. As a key forward and captain for the last few years, this will be the last chance to keep cementing herself in the Aggie record book.

Grace Austin will also be playing in her final two games and has shown to have a knack for finding the back of the cage. Her three goals on the year ranks 3rd among all Aggie's and with the departure of both Austin and Sanchez at the conclusion of the year, Coach Austin Pile will have to lean on the returners such as Lizzy Tedrow, Skylar Richards, and Shannon Lackey to fill the void left behind from two of their top three goal scorers leaving.

THE MAGICAL MIDFIELD
Lizzy Tedrow, Milou Korthouwer and Caroline Stutte have consistently been finding their teammates in stride giving them good balls to score. It shows as the trio has combined for 10 of the 15 assists the Ags have recorded on the year. While Milou will be playing in her final games as an Aggie, Tedrow and Stutte have proven to be significant contributors and connectors for the midfield.

THE AGGIES IN REVIEW
In what has been an up and down season for UC Davis Field Hockey, the growth throughout the season has been more than evident, giving hope to a bright and successful 2023 season in the future. Wins against Bryant and Bellarmine while also having closely contested matches with the likes of Cal, UAlbany, and UMass Lowell has shown the Aggies are buying into the grit and mindset set forth by Coach Pile. The Aggies have had eight different players score goals on the year, as well as eight different members dish out assists. Factoring in only conference stats, Skylar Richards is 10th among all in points, while her and Sanchez are tied for 5th among all leaders with goals as each have three in conference.

A LOOK AT NEW HAMPSHIRE
The Wildcats are 8-8 on the season and are coming fresh off an overtime win against Columbia. The Wildcats are led by Coach Robin Balducci and the impressive duo of Tasmin Cookman and Nicole Poulakis who each have double-digit goals on the year.

A LOOK AT MAINE
The 12-4 Black Bears are among the best in the nation and clock in at No. 23 in the NFHCA Rankings. Led by coach Josette Babineau and All Conference member Poppy Lambert, the Black Bears are among the most formidable and experienced teams the Aggies have faced.
