DAVIS, Calif. -- The UC Davis women's basketball team's scheduled home contest with Cal Poly has been canceled due to COVID health and safety protocols with the Mustangs' program it was announced on Thursday.
Per
Big West Conference guidelines, the game will be declared a "no contest."
The Aggies, who have lost four of their first six contests to health and safety protocols since the start of the league schedule -- including Thursday's game against CSU Bakersfield, are next scheduled to take the floor at home on Jan. 20 against UC Santa Barbara at 6 p.m. at the University Credit Union Center. UC Davis is then scheduled to host CSUN on Jan. 22 at 2 p.m., in what was to be the finale of a four-game homestand.
