Davis, Calif. - UC Davis Athletics announced the following changes to it's men's basketball and gymnastics schedules:
- Dec. 28th's men's basketball home game against UC Riverside has been canceled.
- In alignment with Tuesday's virtual learning announcement by UC Davis, there will be no fan attendance at events scheduled from Jan. 2 to Jan. 9. As a result, there will be no fans allowed at men's basketball games on Jan. 6 against UC Irvine and Jan. 8 against UC San Diego. Both games will be streamed as usual on ESPN+.
- Jan. 9's gymnastics home meet against Sacramento State, Michigan State and UW Oshkosh will no longer have fan attendance and as a result, the alumni meet portion of the event has been canceled.
- Beginning on Jan. 27, 2022, all fans over the age of three must present either proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test per the state of California's 'mega-event' guidelines. If presenting a negative test, fans can provide a PCR test administered within 48 hours of the event, or an antigen test administered within 24 hours. To verify your status, please bring a copy of your vaccination record (either digital or paper), or a copy of your negative test results.
