MADISON, Wisc. -- The UC Davis women's golf team was rained out of its first day of play at the East-West Match Play Challenge as Mother Nature conspired to wash out the first day of stroke play on Sunday at the University Ridge Golf Course in Madison, Wisc.

Teams will attempt to compete on Monday morning beginning at 9 a.m. local time with 36 holes of stroke play and match play following on Tuesday.
