IRVINE, Calif. - After its thrilling head-to-head battle in last season's championship game at the Big West Conference Tournament, FOX Sports' decision to add the defending conference champion's March 3 road game at UC Irvine to its Wild Card schedule was an easy one.

Including ESPN's announcement, which took place earlier this week, as many as five nationally televised games featuring the Aggies, a team that competed in the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history last year, will take place throughout their league schedule.

Throughout league play, the conference will use a "Wild Card" format to select games that air on FOX Sports West or FOX Sports Prime Ticket; official announcements will take place 2-4 weeks before tipoff.

Thursday's announcement by FOX and league officials also included tipoff times for the four quarterfinal games taking place at the 2018 Big West Tournament, hosted by the Honda Center in Anaheim.

FOX Sports West will air the opening two games of this event live at 12 and 2:30 p.m.; its sister station, FOX Sports Prime Ticket, will broadcast the 6 p.m. matchup live on FOXSportsGo.com before televising it following the conclusion of its live 8:30 p.m. quarterfinal.

In addition to telecast coverage on FOX Sports West and Prime Ticket, all games on the two regional sports networks will also be available on FOX Sports GO. The FOX Sports GO app is currently available for iOS, Apple TV, Android, Android TV, Fire tablets and Fire phones, Roku players and Roku TV, Xbox One, select Windows devices, and online at FOXSportsGO.com.

Fans can download the mobile app for free from the iTunes App Store, Google Play, Amazon App Store and Windows Store. Users will need to verify their credentials by signing-in with their pay-TV provider's User ID and Password.

UC Davis' 2017-18 campaign will begin on Nov. 13 at Northern Colorado - the first of a season-opening five-game road swing that also includes another rivalry game vs, Sacramento State at the Golden 1 Center, the state-of-the-art downtown home of the Sacramento Kings. A home-and-home series against Northern Colorado will conclude on Nov. 29 when the Aggies compete inside the Pavilion for the first time this year.
