OMAHA, Neb. -- The third time wasn't the charm for the UC Davis and Omaha baseball programs as a third attempt to meet on the diamond was rained out at Seymour Smith Park in Omaha on Wednesday.

The two teams were originally scheduled to face one another in the second game of the regular season at a tournament hosted by UNLV back in February, but were rained out on back-to-back days.

The Aggies are now scheduled to return to the diamond this weekend, opening Big West Conference play with a three-game series against CSUN at Dobbins Stadium beginning Friday (March 31) at 2:30 p.m.
