DAVIS, Calif. - The Art of Athletes completed its eighth run at the Walter A. Buehler Alumni Center from Wednesday through Saturday, February 1-4. The annual student-athlete art show was coordinated by field hockey player Nica Taglieri with assistance from the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee officers and SAAC advisor, Dr. Michelle Roppeau.

The Art of Athletes was originated by football players Brandon Tucker and Bakari Grant. The inaugural event took place at the Log Cabin Gallery in downtown Davis, while subsequent editions took place in the on-campus Basement Gallery. The Alumni Center hosted the event for the first time in 2016. Previous coordinators were Tucker (2009, 2011), cross country runner Kristina Taylor (2012), field hockey player (Amanda Marinac), swimmer Devon Demont (2014) and field hockey player Sophia Lisaius (2015).
