DAVIS, Calif. - With a sellout crowd expected to attend UC Davis' ESPNU game vs. Long Beach State, and numerous events taking place on campus that afternoon, UC Davis Athletics encourages basketball fans to arrive to the Pavilion early to ensure as smooth and enjoyable an experience as possible.
To help everyone enjoy this historic day - the Pavilion's top attendance figures, since its remodel, all took place during past visits to Davis by ESPN - please take a moment to read Saturday's gameday information and plan accordingly.
TICKETS
A capacity crowd is expected, limited tickets remain (as of Friday morning at the time of this release). Click here to secure your seat. If you choose to pick up your ticket(s) at Will Call, the Pavilion's box office will open at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
A men's basketball ticket is also valid for UC Davis women's basketball's 2 p.m. Senior Day game vs. UC Santa Barbara.
PARKING
Fans who do not have Team Aggie parking permits for Lot 25 are encouraged to park in the structure off La Rue Road and Hutchison Drive. Athletics Event Staff will open the Southeast Entrance to the Pavilion to help everyone who parks in this location enjoy faster access to the arena.
Free parking is available in Lots 30, 40 and 41. To enjoy faster access to the arena, fans can use the Pavilion's Southeast Entrance in addition to its main entrance, located next to the ARC.
Traffic delays are expected, please arrive to campus early.
STUDENT SEATING
Students who picked up a ticket for Saturday's home doubleheader can claim seats in their designated sections starting at 1 p.m. Since student tickets are valid for both basketball games, those who posses one are guaranteed admission until 4:30 p.m.
Please note that the Pavilion's no re-entry pollicy will be strictly enforced all day long.
PROMOTIONS
Thanks to Jiffy Lube, superhero capes will be given to the first 500 fans, and Pepsi will provide 1,000 free t-shirts as part of this weekend's "Superhero Night."
Saturday's game vs. Long Beach State is part of men's basketball's season-long three-game homestand. The team's final home game of the season will take place on Thursday, March 2, vs. Hawai'i.
