SAN FRANCISCO - Isabella von Ebbe's afternoon at the Battle in the Bay Classic may not have started the way she wanted, but the sophomore Aggie finished her consolation semifinals match in the best possible way by topping Santa Clara's Nabila Farah in three sets.

After dropping the first set by a 6-1 score, von Ebbe powered her way through the second frame and posted a 6-3 set victory. Shortly thereafter, von Ebbe walked off her court at the California Tennis Club with a match win after taking the tiebreaker by an 11-9 score.

Von Ebbe will face Arizona's Devin Chypyha, the flight's No. 4-ranked seed, Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m.
