DAVIS, Calif. - By the time most people woke up and jumped out of bed on the morning of August 20, UC Davis was already in the air traveling to Costa Rica. What started with a 4:30 a.m. arrival to Sacramento International Airport ended later that night when the team cleared customs at Juan SantamarÃa International -- the primary airport serving San José, Costa Rica's capital city.
Less than 24 hours after they landed, the Aggies will face Brock University in the first of three games scheduled to take place throughout the upcoming week. This is the inaugural opportunity for the team to showcase all the hard work that took place on the court, and in the weight room, throughout its two-week training camp.
