STANFORD, Calif. - Senior Andrea Wong shot a 2-over 73 on Saturday during the first round of the Peg Barnard Invitational at Stanford and is tied for 14th heading into Sunday's final round for the No. 47 UC Davis women's golf team.

UC Davis shot a 322 team score over the first 18 holes and is in 13th place at its first tournament of the spring. Daniela Anastasi and Alexandra Zeng each shot 81 and are tied for 56th, Betty Chen shot 87 and is in 69th place and Paige Lee is in 70th after finishing with a 94.

Wong was the bright spot for the Aggies on Saturday, playing both sides of the Stanford Golf Course just a shot over par. She posted three birdies, including back-to-back ones on the par-4 13th and the par-3 14th. Wong added 11 pars.

Oregon is 1 over par and leads host Stanford by two shots. Casey Danielson (Stanford), Ying Luo (Washington), Caroline Inglis (Oregon) and Marcella Pranovia (Oregon) are tied for the individual lead after each shooting 70.

UC Davis will begin the final round at 9:20 a.m. on Sunday.
