DAVIS, Calif. - It's home sweet home for a UC Davis team that will compete on Hamilton Court, for the first time in a month, when William Jessup visits the Pavilion on Saturday. The Aggies' home opener, the only other home games that has taken place this season, was held (literally) a month ago against Holy Names.
However, starting with this weekend's matchup vs. the Warriors, four of UC Davis' next six games will take place at home.
Also taking place on Saturday is the program's annual toy drive. Anyone who drops off an item will receive reduced admission; students that participate in this event will receive a prize courtesy of a UC Davis Athletics corporate partner. Only one toy is needed to receive a discount on admission, or a prize, but fans can donate as many items as they like.
All donations will benefit the UC Davis Children's Hospital.
With their Jan. 5 Big West opener quickly approaching, Saturday's game will open a key stretch of games for the Aggies. After facing the Warriors, UC Davis will travel to Air Force and Seattle before facing Utah Valley in its final pre-league tuneup.
William Jessup will enter the Pavilion with victories in its last four straight games. This matchup will also mark the midpoints of a six-game road swing for the Warriors.
