DAVIS, Calif. - From the moment he visited campus as a high school senior and saw firsthand how UC Davis basketball, and the university fit his academic and athletic goals, freshman forward Mikey Henn immediately realized that Northern California would soon become his new home.
In this edition of "A Full Timeout," Henn, one of the team's two freshmen, spoke with UCDavisAggies.com shortly after his team's Costa Rica Training Camp concluded. Click below to listen what Henn's first months as a Division I student-athlete were like, both in the classroom and on the court.
Henn will compete in his inaugural college basketball game on Nov. 11 when UC Davis opens the upcoming season at the Cable Car Classic, in Santa Clara, against Tennessee State — one of numerous 2015 postseason participants on the Aggies' schedule this season.
