ANCHORAGE - UC Davis will experience a quick turnaround Friday afternoon after facing Weber State in Thursday's opener at the GCI Great Alaska Shootout. Less than 18 hours after exiting the Alaska Airlines Arena on Thanksgiving, the Aggies will return to action against the Drake Bulldogs.

Drake dropped its first tournament game to Iona, 64-53, while the Aggies fell in their first Shootout game vs. Weber State. UC Davis' loss snapped its four-game win streak, while the Bulldogs are still seeking their first victory against a Division I opponent.

Since this game is not televised, and no video stream is available, Aggie basketball fans can follow the action using live stats, or listen to Scott Marsh's broadcast on KSAC 105.5 FM, or online at UCDavisAggies.com.

This is the first head-to-head matchup between UC Davis and Drake.

The winner of this game will end action at the Shootout Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m.; the team that loses Friday's 3 p.m. matchup will tip the following day at 12 p.m.
