DAVIS, Calif. - After defeating Santa Clara Saturday night to give the Big West Conference its first victory against a Division I opponent this season, UC Davis will look to end its weekend at the Cable Car Classic with a winning record when it faces Northern Arizona Sunday afternoon for the first time four years. Calling today's game is Scott Marsh, the voice of UC Davis men's basketball, fresh off yesterday's football road trip to Montana State.

The Lumberjacks dropped their season opener to Santa Clara on Friday by three before losing Saturday night's game vs. Tennessee State by four. With Sunday's contest starting at noon, both teams will experience a quick turnaround before heading home.

NAU is the first of four Big Sky opponents on the Aggies' schedule this season, and the first of three within an 11-day timespan. Following their Nov. 21 rivalry game at the Golden 1 Center against Sacramento State, the Aggies will face Weber State on Thanksgiving night in their GCI Great Alaska Shootout opener.

UC Davis will end its Big Sky slate on Dec. 3 at Idaho.
