DAVIS, Calif. - After a brief hiatus, women's tennis will return to action when it heads to Stanford this weekend to compete in the ITA Northwest Regionals. For the 10th season in a row, the Cardinal will host this tournament at the Taube Family Tennis Center.

In addition to a link that provides draws and results, FloTennis, a subscription-based sports media company, will live stream the entire championship online for a nominal fee.

Including UC Davis and the host school, California, Cal Poly, Eastern Washington, Fresno State, Gonzaga, Oregon, Pacific, Portland, Portland State, Sacramento State, Saint Mary's, San Francisco, San José State, Santa Clara, Seattle, Washington and Washington State are the other schools that comprise this year's field.

Friday's action begins at 9 a.m. with the first two rounds of singles and the opening slate of doubles. The tournament continues Saturday with two more rounds on both sides; quarterfinals are set for Sunday. All semifinal contests will take place on Monday with winners squaring off in their respective singles and/or doubles championship match on Tuesday.

The Northwest Regionals is the last fall tournament for UC Davis since the team's next official competition will take place in mid-January when its spring slate begins. Once official, women's tennis will release its dual schedule online at UCDavisAggies.com.
