MADISON, Wisc. -- Junior Paige Lee fired a 3-under-par 69 in the second round to finish in a tie for fourth place at 2-under 142 to highlight UC Davis at the East-West Match Classic at University Ridge Golf Course Sunday. The Aggies finished in a tie with host Wisconsin at 19-over 595.

The tournament, designed to match the format of the NCAA Finals, features 36 holes of stroke play on Sunday followed by two rounds of match play on Monday and Tuesday. Sunday's individual standings determines Monday's opening pairings.

Lee, who opened the tournament with a team-best 73 in the first round, birdied four holes on the back nine plus the par-4 first to vault herself into the top five of the individual leaderboard. The reigning Big West Conference Player of the Year was one of only six players to shoot a round under 70 in Sunday's action. Lee is tied with Michigan's Megan Kim, who led the field at 6-under in the first round before posting a 4-over 76 in the second round to close the day at 2 under par.

UC Davis freshmen Daniela Anastasi and Sam Hutchison finished the day at 6-over 148 and 8-over 150, respectively. Senior Andrea Wong, who medaled the stroke play at last year's East-West event at Michigan, rounded out the Aggie scoring with a 11-over 155. Overall, UC Davis improved 13 strokes from the first 18 holes to the second.

Led by individual medalist Esther Lee's 7-under 137, Colorado topped the team standings as the only team under par. The Buffaloes shot a 4-over 292 followed by a 11-under 277 to close the day at 7 under par. Fifteen strokes back was Michigan at 584, with Oregon (587) and Indiana (590) trailing in third and fourth. UC Davis and Wisconsin shared fifth place at 595, ahead of SMU (597) and Penn State (604).

Tee times begin at holes 1 and 10 at 9 a.m. Monday. UC Davis begins on the 10th with pairings against Penn State: Chen vs. Ariana Coyle Diaz at 9 a.m., Anastasi vs. Lauren Waller at 9:09, Hutchison vs. Grace Chung at 9:18, Lee vs. Hailey Morell at 9:27, Wong vs. Jackie Rogowicz at 9:36.
