DAVIS, Calif. -- The 2014-15 season opener for the UC Davis women's basketball team is just a day away as the Aggies play host to two-time defending national champion and top-ranked UConn on Friday (Nov. 14) at 7 p.m. at The Pavilion.

With classes in session and game-planning underway for Friday night's event, UC Davis took time out of their busy schedules to hit local media and pump up its clash with the Huskies.

First, Head Coach Jennifer Gross hit the airwaves to talk with Bill Herenda and the KFBK Morning News crew.

Then, a quick turnaround as the Aggies hit Hamilton Court at The Pavilion, joined by members of the spirit squad and the Cal Aggie Marching Band-uh!, for a pair of segments with anchor Ken Rudulph during the nine o'clock hour of Good Day Sacramento.
