Men's Basketball

Ball kid program back by popular demand

Nov. 10, 2014

DAVIS, Calif. - Due to overwhelming demand, UC Davis men's basketball fans in grades first through six will once again have an opportunity to become a ball boy, or ball girl, at a home game throughout the 2014-15 season.

As was the case last year, Original Steve's - a proud supporter of UC Davis Athletics for more than two decades - will present this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

By signing up at Original Steve's, located at 314 F Street in Downtown Davis, your son or daughter will have the chance to become an official ball boy or ball girl, join the Aggies on their team bench, receive a free personal pizza from Original Steve's, a UC Davis basketball t-shirt and goodie bag.

A member of the men's basketball coaching staff will contact all winners; selected participants will also have their name announced as "UC Davis men's basketball's official ball kid" at their respective game.

Swing by Original Steve's anytime between 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, or from 11 a.m.-11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays to help your child become UC Davis' official ball kid. Visit theoriginalsteves.com to discover why students, families and local residents love Original Steve's, and ucdavisaggies.com to receive the latest news, notes, scores and statistics regarding UC Davis men's basketball.
